High School Researcher Titus Ko Publishes First-Author Study in Cureus Journal of Medical Science, Part of Springer Nature, Examining Water Intake and Academic Performance Among 10,199 U.S. Teens
Titus Ko's first-author research paper was published in Cureus Journal of Medical Science, part of Springer Nature.
Combining his passion for computer science, data science, and statistical analysis, Titus investigated the relationship between water intake and academic performance among 10,199 U.S. high school students using CDC survey data.
Applying computational data analysis and advanced statistical techniques, including survey-weighted logistic regression, he examined patterns in a large national dataset while distinguishing correlation from causation.
His publication demonstrates how programming, quantitative reasoning, and scientific research skills can be applied to investigate real-world questions in public health and education.
